I made blackberry pancakes for breakfast this morning and was instantly transported back to my childhood in Silverdale, Washington. We spent every summer picking wild blackberries and making every sort of blackberry treat imaginable - pie, cobbler, muffins, pancakes. It's hard to find good blackberries in the desert but these cuties from California weren't bad.
I'm a wife, a mother, a paralegal, a bookkeeper, a piano player, a crafter, a quilter, a reader, an organizer, a pack rat, a singer, a friend, a sister, a daughter, a niece, a cousin, a collector, a baker, and everything else between. I love the Beatles, John Steinbeck, Jimmy Buffett and NOT being still. I am constantly on the go and trying to live a happy life.
